COVID-19 and the implications of this pandemic are being widely felt across the globe. Amongst many other organisations this has caused us to assess if Kairos 2020 can proceed as planned. We have given prayerful consideration to the 2020 event and wanted to inform you of our intentions.
It is our desire that the event should still happen if it can safely do so. In this season of chaos and uncertainty, we want Kairos 2020 to be there for all those who have unfortunately suffered this year. We will only allow the event to take place if local regulators and the core team are satisfied that it can do so without risking the wellbeing of those we care for or breaching guidelines imposed by local or national government.
We are mindful that this is a financial risk and the event may need to be cancelled later this year, but it is a risk that the core team are willing to carry. As such this notice confirms that Kairos will issue a full refund if the event is cancelled, or if you feel at any point that you would prefer not to attend the event. For this year we are removing the restrictions associated with our refund policy to give you peace of mind that this event will not be a financial burden to you.
We will keep you fully informed of any changes and would be pleased to hear from you if you have any queries or comments.
Yours faithfully,
The Kairos Core Team
