Kairos could not run without the wonderful work of our many team members.  Serving on team at camp can be hard work at times but certainly rewarding. We are looking for team members who have a heart to work with young people, are honest, reliable and are team players.  More than anything we’d love for all our team members to be willing to get stuck in and help out in a variety of ways over the weekend as we seek to host a great event for young people.

As Kairos team…

This year we are continuing the ‘Developing Leaders’ under 25 programme to equip those who want to be part of the Kairos team but have not worked on team previously. We want to equip you as a future leader so that you can take an import role on team at Kairos, and to give you skills and experiences that will serve you well in the future, because who knows where your journey will take you! At a glance, here’s what it looks like:

  • Those aged 18 or 19 will work limited hours (4hrs per day) to give important free time to be part of your own church/ youth group activities
  • Those under 25 serving for the first time will work alongside a more experienced team member to help you to learn the role
  • During group time, we will run a separate Developing Leaders group and we ask that you participate, to spend the time as a Kairos team
  • We will try to create as many opportunities as possible during the event for you to learn from others and to grow as a future leader.

Anyone wishing to be part of the team can apply using the forms available through the links below, if you have any questions then please get in touch and we would be happy to speak with you. We have two options for team members (excluding Ministry team members):

  • Work 8hrs per day and come for free
  • Work 4hrs per day and pay £30

Please note, there is a £15 fully catered option if you would like it. If not then either bring your own food or pay as you go at the cafe.

We ask all people serving on team to be at camp from 3pm the Thursday (unless otherwise argreed) to be at the team briefing on the evening. Tea and breakfast will be provided. We also ask for team to help pack down on the Monday, we are normally done by 3pm.

We will be having a pre-camp Praise & Prayer Night sometime in June/July which we hope all team can make. We will send more information out about this closer to the time.

If you’re interested to serve on team we’d love for you apply – Please note not we may not acDSC_8860cept all applications.  You will need to have a DBS check, we ask that you are strongly linked into a church and provide references (one from a church leader). You will need to be 18+ to serve on the Kairos Team.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL KAIROS TEAM MEMBERS ARE SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATE SAFEGUARDING CHECKS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE KAIROS SAFEGUARDING POLICY & PROCEDURES.

Please think about which team/s you’d like to be part of but please be aware that we’ll place people where the need and your skills are. We only have limited spaces on team and these fill up quickly.
